They’re coming! If any of you saw the Democratic debate last night you know what’s on the way, all those wonderful commercials of he said she said shit. Thank god for Tivo! So here we go again, almost time for the primaries. This is when it all starts to get ugly. Every time there is an election we are constantly reminded of how many times these people fucked up. Isn’t this shit childish? If I made a commercial about you and the time you fucked that fat girl in Vegas, you’d sue the shit out of me. So why are our elected officials allowed to to this shit? What makes it okay for them to slander each other on TV? Why can’t we focus on what you people can DO for America instead of what the other person did years ago? I can’t wait for all that fast forwarding I’ll be doing!

So it’s my Birthday today, big fucking deal right? So getting to the point, after months of asking I finally convinced my wife to let me buy a PS3. So naturally I look online for the best deal and I find Bestbuy has a 40gb model with the SpiderMan 3 Blueray movie included for 399. Sounds like a good deal right? So we go on down to the old BB and of course they don’t have any, false advertising pricks. So after going to 4-5 different places I finally end up at the Game Stop. I get a pretty decent deal, 499 for the 80gb and a game, and I buy a few extras like an additional controller (50 fucking bucks) and some games. I come home too hook it up and to my demise there is no HDMI cable included. What the fuck Sony?

How do parents afford to buy this shit for their kids? I mean I justified the purchase mainly because of the Blueray player, those alone are 500 bucks. But for the average double income family this is a bit steep. By the time you add an extra controller, some games and an HDMI cable thats an extra 2-3 hundred bucks. Don’t get me wrong after hooking this puppy up to my 50 inch plasma it looks phenomenal, playing Madden actually looks like the real thing. But at what point do you draw the line as a parent who’s kid keeps asking for one of these? After looking at the big picture here, I (my wife actually, lol) spent as much on this system as our mortgage payment. Ouch! Was it worth it? Well the kid in me says yes, but the man in me says no.

I remember back in the day a Nintendo coming with 2 controllers, the gun (we all loved that) and a Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt game. You know you all had one. So why can’t sony at lest do that? I mean you’re fucking us out of a lot of money at least throw in a cable and two controllers. Maybe even a game because you have to get a “special edition” version to get one of those. So I say to Sony, stop fucking everyone! Drop the price and include all the shit you need to bring the PS3 home and enjoy it. Give the regular kids something to look forward to you selfish assholes.

Okay I am going to stay politically correct on this one. I don’t want to offend anyone here and I may have some gay friends that have not come out of the closet yet. :no: Anyway Ft.Lauderdale has recently approved a gay library. Why in the hell do we need a gay library? This is what puzzles me, the gay community wants everyone to respect them and treat them as equal so why can’t you just use the regular library? I mean this is a little insane here, isn’t this something called “segregation”? Aren’t the gays creating something they want to get away from? Do you think the black or Jewish community want their own library too? Wouldn’t everyone be pissed if they went to the local library and saw a sign that read “whites only”? That would be pretty fucked up huh?

Its been a while since I have been to a library but maybe we should just add an “alternative lifestyle” section? Maybe thats the answer or maybe the gays are just being hypocrites? Either way I think this is a bit extreme and should be reconsidered. The gay community is going to push America back 50-60 years by doing this shit. If I were an African American I’d be even more pissed that the gays are bringing back something that was abolished years ago. My answer for all this? Stop complaining gay community, and if you want so bad to be accepted and considered equal then stop fucking putting yourselves in a separate category and grow the fuck up.

This is one that really gets on my fucking nerves. While I’m sitting here awaiting my copy of OSX Leopard, I am reading the reviews of some of the lucky ones who received their copies yesterday. Their feedback is great, with very little complaints and I can’t wait to install mine. But then I read down a little further at the comments and see these Winblows users totally bashing Apple and the new version of OSX. What the hell is wrong with you people? Most of you can’t even spell OSX let alone have ever used it. It’s like owning a 72 Ford Pinto and saying the new Mercedes is a piece of shit just because you don’t have one or cannot afford one. FUCKERS!

Anyway there once was a time when I was a full-fledged Windows user and didn’t know any better either. Then one day a good friend of mine, Nick Avgerinos, introduced me to the Mac. That was it for me I fell in love! I was always a Linux/BSD user but never really liked the GUIs and found myself going back to Windows for some reason or another. But once I bought my first Mac back in 2004 it was on.

Getting back to the point here, what balls of these people to thrash one of the greatest operating systems ever created just because they have not used it. I mean sure you have your Winblows Vista which is okay, but all MS did was change the names of everything and move it all around so you can’t find shit and their “added security” feature is a fucking window that pops up every time you click on something to ask if you’re sure you want to do that. Plus they have 4-5 different versions and you can’t get all of the features unless you pay about 400 bucks, yea 400 bucks I could buy a whole computer for that. And I won’t even get into all the “features” they copied from OSX. Apple has one version at one price, everything included. PERIOD

So some of you are probably reading this saying “you’re bashing Microsucks and complaining about people doing the same about Apple, asshole”. But you know what? I can fucking do that because I have actually bought and used Vista just because I’m an IT guy and have to be able to support the shit. Plus this is my blog and I can say whatever the fuck I want. So go fuck yourselves. LOL So what do I say to all you Mac haters? How about go buy an Apple you cheap fucks! Stop downloading pirated copies of Windows and get a real computer and OS. And after all that if you still don’t like it, I will personally let you speak your mind right here on my blog. Bitches!

Ah, another loyal follower of the cult of Jobs. Glad to see that I had such a positive impact on ya DougG.

So, until recently, Windows 2000 was the last M$ operating system I had used. The power supply on my last remaining Win2k computer blew up and fried the motherboard with it, and since I NEED to play iRO (yes, I’m addicted, an don’t want to boot out of OSX to play a game). Anyway, I went to Best Buy and bought a $400 laptop.

What an eye opening experience. Having just setup two new iMacs for my parents vs. this laptop. Yes, the price points are a bit different, but even if I were to spend the same as the mac I doubt it would be very different. Just the amount spyware/bloatware/trailware installed on the machine by default literally made the computer so slow it was unusable. From first power on, it was literally 1 hour before I was at a desktop with a Start prompt and another 2 hours to download updates and uninstall the over 15 apps that were running in the tray.

Since I would call this pretty close to the “average” PC user experience, I look at it this way. There is no way in the world that my mom could go to a store, by this laptop and ever have any hopes of setting it up or using it.

On the other hand, my completely computer-illiterate mother iChat’ed with me the other day and asked when she could get leopard installed on her computer because she really wants it.

I need to buy more Apple stock.

So I’m watching the news on TV last night, and I see a story of a single dad who whacked his son with a belt after he came home with bad grades. What happened after that is totally fucked. The guy got thrown in jail for child abuse, his son was taken from him and now he will be in court to defend his actions. I mean what is the world coming to here? What do we expect parents to do when their kids fuck up, buy them a new video game? It was funny too because they showed the judge at the bond hearing as well, and even he was looking like “no shit we really arrested this guy?”

Come on America. Let’s wake the fuck up! This guy is a single dad taking care of his son without a mother and we take his kid away and throw the book at him. How many kids do you think are growing up in America without a father? And how many of them do you think turn out good? Not to many, they will be the ones selling dope on the corner, stealing your fucking purse or growing up to be just like the shitty dad they didn’t have. We should commend this guy for being a real dad and caring about his son, not punishing him.

This is one of the reasons why America is going down the tubes because any guy can have a child, but it takes a real man to be a father to that child. Look around and you see it every day, these punk ass kids have no respect for authority let alone other people. Because there is no one there to show them and they just follow an unbroken cycle adding more problems in society. My advice on this one? Do I really have to say it? Stop fucking with the parents who are doing their job and focus on the ones who aren’t. Maybe the parents who don’t give two shits about their kids should be the ones in jail?
